Autumn Term
Understanding our local area and Britain's past
Term 1
In the Autumn term, the school focus is on our local area and British history. There are field visits around Worksop and the surrounding area. The history topics: Stone age, Vikings, Victorians and WWII, look at how Britain was affected during these periods of history and how it impacted on our region. (This includes the Vikings in York, the Stone age at Cresswell Craggs, Victorian innovations within Worksop and the Blitz bombings in Sheffield.)
