ROMAN DAY - March 2024
Year 4 have had a brilliant time learning all about Romans this term and to celebrate, we decided to host a Roman day.
We all came dressed up in our finest Roman outfits and enjoyed a feast fit for any emperor or empress! Children designed and created their own chariots, played some traditional Roman board games and made their own mosaics. We also created our own shields and painted our Roman face pots.
What a brilliant day!
We have had an amazing day on our York visit! We loved exploring Jorvik and having the opportunity to be real life archeologists!
Year 4 have had a wonderful time during their Viking Day!
We were fierce Viking Warriors led by a Viking Jarl!
We had an amazing time making Viking Bread!
We thought the tasting of the bread was the best part!
We had a fantastic time designing and making our own Viking Shields!
